Watch The Hacienda’s all-day stay at home house party – live stream

The Hacienda is coming to houses around the world today as Manchester’s legendary club hosts its very first stay-at-home rave.

The virtual party will see sets from a line up of the finest DJs, residents and rock stars to have frequented FAC51 as part of Greater Manchester’s United We Stream project.

Streaming live from midday until midnight, the bank holiday marathon will be headlined by American house legends – David Morales, Roger Sanchez and Todd Terry.

There’ll also be tunes from the Hacienda’s own Graeme Park, Jon Dasilva, Tom Wainwright and K Klass, as well as Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll and Chicago house export Roy Davis Jr.

Viewers can also look forward to audience with Shaun Ryder, Peter Hook and Graeme Park midway through the broadcast.

They’ll be chatting to music journalist John Robb as well as answering questions from fans.

The event is free to watch but donations are welcomed, which will support Greater Manchester’s night time economy, creative and cultural organisations, alongside music charity Nordoff Robbins and The Greater Manchester’s Mayor’s Charity.

The Hacienda was at the heart of the Madchester scene in the 80s and early 90s and fuelled the rise of acid house music and rave culture.

Bankrolled by Tony Wilson’s Factory Records and New Order, it opened inside a former yacht builder’s warehouse at 11-13 Whitworth Street West on May 21, 1982.
