JAMES Franco was sensationally branded “rapey” by Johnny Depp today as he was dragged into the actor’s explosive showdown trial.
Depp made the shocking claim after Franco allegedly made advances towards Amber Heard during their time on film Pineapple Express.
He is also accused of branding Heard a “go-getting s**t” who liked “getting f***ed” during a furious plane bust-up where he chucked ice cubes at her.
Depp told the High Court he was “shocked” when Heard had agreed to make the 2015 film The Adderall Diaries with Franco because she had made “negative” comments about working with him in the past.
He added: “She told me many things that were very very negative about Mr Franco, that he had tried to kiss her and made sexual advances towards her on the previous film they had made together.
“She said he was a creep and a rapist. She said he was quite aggressive in his advances towards her.”
Sasha Wass, representing The Sun at the libel trial, asked if she had used that word and whether Depp had “made it up on the spot”.
She told him: “You have made an extremely important statement just now.”
Depp replied: “It’s just a word that came out for the actions of Mr Franco, as described to me by Ms Heard, which were sexual advances, him leaning over and saying I’m going to kiss you.
“She had to sort of run from the advances at one point, that he was kind of non-stop, she felt he was creepy and rapey so I said a rapist.”
Depp then said he was “uncomfortable” with two working together.
He was also accused of flying into a rage after accusations Heard had cheated on him with Pineapple Express co-star Franco during the flight from Boston to LA in 2014.
The High Court heard how made “vulgar references to [Ms Heard’s] genitalia” and called her a “go-getter s**t” in front of crew members.
